Terms of Service
Version 1.0. Effective from: 25 October 2026.
By registering for forBio's services, students and parents or guardians agree to these terms.
1. Parties
The services are run by PT Forsains Edutech, Jl. Gadung No. 8, Denpasar, through its initiative forBio Academy ("forBio", "we"). A "participant" is a registered student; for participants under 18, these terms also bind the parent or guardian who gave consent.
2. Services
forBio offers online biology olympiad preparation classes, the Kick-Off Class (free), mentoring, Try-Outs and a scholarship programme. Schedules, material, prices and discounts for each programme are listed on its programme page and official announcements.
3. Registration
Registration is through forBio's official forms. Participants under 18 need a parent's or guardian's consent, given in the form. A registration is accepted once an admin confirms the payment.
4. Payment
Payment is by bank transfer to the account in the name of PT Forsains Edutech, and the transfer receipt is sent as the form or an admin instructs.
Payment may be made at any time until the class period ends, and a registration is not cancelled because payment has not arrived. Access to classes, recordings and the student portal opens once payment is confirmed.
Participants who join after classes have started pay the full price. Discounts follow the terms announced for that batch.
5. Cancellation and refunds
- Cancelled before the first session: a full refund, minus the transfer fee.
- After classes have started, including when a participant joins mid-period: no refund.
- If forBio cancels a session, participants get a replacement session or a refund for that session.
- Special circumstances outside these terms are discussed case by case with an admin.
6. Recordings and class material
Recordings, notes, questions and other class material belong to forBio and its tutors and are for the participant's own use only. Participants may not share, re-upload, distribute or sell them in any form.
Access to recordings lasts until the olympiad the class prepares for has ended; for the OSN-K 2027 preparation class, until OSN-K 2027 has ended. A breach leads to access being removed without a refund.
7. Student portal account
A student portal account is personal. The password must not be shared with anyone. Portal access follows the participant's batch.
8. Conduct
An admin may remove a participant from the WhatsApp group, classes or student portal for harassing other participants or tutors, or for sharing class material. A participant removed for these reasons gets no refund.
9. Scholarships
Scholarship requirements and selection are set out in each period's announcement. A scholarship may be withdrawn if the data given in the form turns out to be untrue.
10. Promotion
We use a participant's name, photo and competition results for promotion only with separate consent to the content that will be published. This consent is optional and does not affect taking part in classes.
11. Limits of responsibility
forBio does not guarantee competition results. forBio is not responsible for internet connection problems on the participant's side, or for changes to competition schedules or rules by the organiser.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Indonesia. Disputes are first settled through deliberation or mediation for 30 calendar days. If no agreement is reached, the dispute is settled at the Denpasar District Court.
13. Language
These terms are made in Indonesian and English. If they differ, the Indonesian version prevails.
14. Changes
Changes are posted on this page with a new version number and effective date, and do not apply retroactively to payments already confirmed.
