Kak Prakas's material is well structured, so everyone starts together and nobody is afraid of falling behind. Besides building knowledge, the sharing sessions also build the strong mindset you need for the four OSN practicals.
I first met Kak Prakas at the West Java regional training (Pelatda Jabar) last year. My first thought was, "Oh, if only I'd met Kak Prakas sooner," because when Kak Prakas taught, it clicked straight away. Last year I didn't get a medal: partly it just wasn't meant to be, but I also hadn't prepared much. I only learned the details of the practicals at that regional training. So, for OSN 2024, I was with forBio from the very start of OSK. With forBio from start to finish, hehehe.
I love being taught by Kak Prakas because the material is structured, so everyone starts together and nobody needs to worry about falling behind. Kak Prakas also teaches slowly and very gently, so I was never afraid to ask when I didn't quite understand something. In short, Kak Prakas is SOOO kind. In the offline classes that kindness showed even more. And Kak Prakas's command of the material goes without saying.
On top of that, the sharing sessions helped a lot, especially about how we mustn't let one practical get us down and spoil the others. When I couldn't submit task 2 in my first practical (biomedical), I overthought it a bit, but then I remembered what Kak Prakas said in a sharing session and my spirits came back up. If Kak Prakas hadn't said that, I might have got stuck on biomedical task 2. Besides helping to build the blocks of knowledge in my head, Kak Prakas also helps build a strong mindset, and honestly that matters a lot in biology too, with its 4 practicals that really drain your energy. Thank you Kak Prakas!! :D

My practical skills started at a big zero, and in the end I won best experiment. The practical material taught at forBio came up at OSN 2024, and the offline class was so much fun!
I first met Kak Prakas while preparing for OSK. My first impression was how committed Kak Prakas is to teaching: when explaining the material, Kak Prakas makes sure we really, truly understand it. Then, preparing for OSP, I was so determined that I took a private class with Kak Prakas, and it was so worth it! It was like being taught to work through olympiad questions logically, and whenever we didn't quite get something, Kak Prakas explained the concept right away.
Next, to prepare for OSN, I joined forBio's offline class and seriously… was it… THAT MUCH FUN?!?!?! forBio still holds the title for the most fun offline training, guys. And the practical material we were taught came up at OSN 2024, so I turned straight to a fellow forBio alum and said, "Hey, didn't Kak Prakas already teach us this?" Honestly, forBio played a huge role in my practical skills, which went from a big zero to winning best experiment. Come on, guys, you have to join forBio to prepare for OSN, you won't regret it!

Kak Prakas guided me from the start of OSK and always followed each student's progress. Kak Prakas builds logical thinking from the very beginning and patiently explains again until we really understand.
On my journey to OSN 2024, Kak Prakas guided me from the start of OSK with great care and always followed every student's progress. Kak Prakas puts so much effort into teaching, even giving up a lot of time for the students. Kak Prakas's teaching really builds logical thinking from the very beginning and makes sure we truly understand the material. Kak Prakas is very patient when teaching: when a student asks something or doesn't understand, it gets explained again and again until it is clear. On my way through OSN preparation, from never having done practicals that complex to becoming an OSN medalist, forBio was always with me in my effort.

I studied with Kak Prakas from OSN-K 2023 preparation all the way to Pelatnas IBO 2023. The explanations are structured, the material fits the standard from OSN-K up to OSN, and the practice questions help deepen the concepts.
I met Kak Prakas while preparing for OSN-K 2023, and it carried on all the way to Pelatnas IBO 2023. Kak Prakas teaches in a way that is very easy to follow, whether you are just starting or already advanced, right up to Pelatnas. From the structured explanations, to material that fits the standard from OSN-K up to OSN so it is effective, to the many practice questions after the material that help deepen the concepts. In short, it's great: try the class yourself. All the best always, Kak!

Even though the material is hard, Kak Prakas teaches diligently, clearly and in a way that is easy to understand. The class never feels tense; it becomes a place to grow and learn.
Kak Prakas is one of the best teachers who has ever taught me. Kak Prakas's passion and skill in teaching and educating are clear to see, along with quite good public speaking skills. The lessons are very clear and easy to understand. Even though the material was hard, Kak Prakas diligently taught me and all the OSN candidates at the time. In short, being taught by Kak Prakas was a very good experience that left a very good impression. Not only in teaching: Kak Prakas is also very friendly and easy to get along with, so studying never felt tense, but was a place to grow and learn.

The classes are interactive, inviting students to join the discussion and not be afraid to answer. The material always stays with you, especially genetics and biochemistry.
I first met Kak Prakas at the OSN-P 2022 training, then again for OSN-P 2023, OSN 2023 and all the way to Pelatnas IBO 2023. Overall, I really enjoyed the teaching: material that is easy to understand, plus interactive classes that invite students to join the discussion and not be afraid to answer. Even though we have only met online so far, the material always stayed with me, especially genetics and biochemistry. Finally, I want to say thank you for being with me on my OSN journey for 2 years. I hope things go even better for you from here, and that we meet again at the next training.

When I first reached the national level, I had no idea what the OSN practicals would be like. Kak Prakas taught spectrophotometry, chromatography and even protein purification slowly and patiently, so it was easy to understand.
On my journey of studying for OSN, Kak Prakas helped me a great deal, especially with the practicals. When I first reached the national level, I really had no idea what kind of practicals I would face at OSN. It was only at the regional training that Kak Prakas taught me many things, such as spectrophotometry, linear regression, chromatography, protein purification, the isoelectric point and more. Everything was taught gently and slowly, so it was easy for me to understand. And if there was something I didn't understand, I never hesitated to ask, because Kak Prakas is very patient and always happy to answer my questions.
